He condemned the gruesome murder of the couple and instructed the police to arrest the accused for restoring the peace and normalcy in the city. Participating in a condolence meeting of slain Mayor and her husband at Nagaiah Kalamadir on Sunday, the minister reiterated that there was no room for violence in democracy.
Mayor used to take active part in the party as well in initiating development schemes in Chittoor town, along with her husband K Mohan. She was an inspiration to the party and the women. It would be a difficult task to fill up the void created by the two leaders in the district, he opined.
He assured that the party would never forget the services of the slain couple adding that cooperation and coordination would be extended to the kin of the slain couple. Chittoor MP Dr N Siva Prasad paying floral tributes to the slain couple felt that he lost his own sister as he was highly inspired by the services of K Aruradha.
Chittoor MLA Satya Prabha decried that she lost her best companion and added that the commitment of K Anuradha in tackling the difficult situations in the administration was highly laudable. ZP chairperson Girivani Chandra Prakash has recalled her association with the Mayor during the past two years in attending the public needs.
