Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy released ‘Jala Darshini’, a book on water resources and irrigation projects in Kurnool district, at the irrigation office here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he underlined the need to utilise the limited water resources in an optimum manner to achieve economic growth.
The TDP government is laying emphasis on linkage of rivers to tap the flood water for irrigation and drinking needs of the State, he said. Former Minister TG Venkatesh, MLA SV Mohan Reddy, Irrigation Chief Engineer Chittibabu and others were present.
