Kurnool: New ration cards will be issued to 1.13 lakh eligible families in the district during the next phase of Janmabhoomi - Maa Vooru programme from January 1, 2016.
Holding a video conference with the revenue divisional officers and tahsildars from the District Collectorate here on Saturday, Joint Collector C Hari Kiran directed them to ready the list of beneficiaries from the applications received for new ration cards.
The mandal officials should prepare the list of eligible families for new ration cards panchayat-wise after consulting the Janmabhoomi committees. He also directed the tahsildars to focus on redressing pending grievances of people received in the earlier phase of Janmabhoomi programme.
