The 54th Annual Parents’ Day of Sainik School, Korukonda was concluded with great pomp and show on Sunday. Commodore Hemant Khatri, Commanding Officer, INS Eksila was the chief guest of the day and he was receved by principal Group Captain P Ravi Kumar. Later, Hemant Khatri along with Squadron Leader M Subba Rao, the administrative officer of the school, paid homage to the departed war heroes by laying a wreath at the School War Memorial. He then reviewed an impressive Ceremonial Parade consisting of eight contingents of cadets. 62 cadets of Class XII participated in the impressive Passing Out Parade in a nostalgic atmosphere cheered by the parents and other guests witnessing the event

Later, Hemant Khatri along with Squadron Leader M Subba Rao, the administrative officer of the school, paid homage to the departed war heroes by laying a wreath at the School War Memorial. He then reviewed an impressive Ceremonial Parade consisting of eight contingents of cadets. 62 cadets of Class XII participated in the impressive Passing Out Parade in a nostalgic atmosphere cheered by the parents and other guests witnessing the event.
The chief guest then presented awards to a few meritorious cadets in various categories and later visited the various hobby club stalls put up by the cadets. The principal presented the annual report covering the various activities and achievements of the cadets, various infrastructural developments and innovative measures taken up by the school for enhancing the overall development of the cadets. In the afternoon session, the chief guest took part in a jubilant colorful ceremonial march past for the closing ceremony of Annual Athletics Meet 2015.
He congratulated the prize winners. He then gave away the championship trophies, prizes and certificates to the deserving cadets who were adjudged as winners / toppers of various events and declared the Annual Athletic Meet 2015 – 16 closed. Later, the cadets presented a very impressive display of Malkhamb, yoga, gymnastics, the torchlight tattoo and the scintillating dare devilry high horse and jumping through the fire.
