Konathala meets Chandrababu; all set for entry into TDP?

Former YSR Congress party leader Konathala Ramakrishna will be joining the TDP soon. Konathala Ramakrishna, who quit YSRCP after the elections, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the morning.

Minister for Panchayat Raj Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, who arranged the meeting with Chandrababu and Kala Venktrao was also present during the meeting. There were reports that Chandrababu was trying to woo him into the party fold to win over tribals in the wake of serious opposition from the tribals over the bauxite mining. Konathala, who has strong base in his hometown Anakapalle and surrounding rural areas, has also good relationship with tribals, particularly where the mining is proposed.
