Former minister and TDP vice-president Metla Satyanarayana breathed his last on Friday after suffering from prolonged illness. Sources inform that he was undergoing treatment at NIMS since a few weeks but his condition detoriated in the early hours of Friday and Satyanarayana had succumbed to death.
During the previous government under Chandrababu's rule, Metla Satyanarayana was elected as an MLA for three times from Amalapuram and was also a Minister for Medical and Health. TDP leaders recalled his commitment to the party and paid homage to Satyanarayana. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with Nara Lokesh, Home Minister Chinarajappa, Narayana, Kalavenkatrao and other party leaders condoled the death of the leader.
