RSS chief offers prayers at Durga temple

Vijayawada: Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat offered special prayers to Goddess Kanakadurga, atop the Indrakeeladri Hill, here on Friday. Tight security was provided around the temple, except the local RSS functionaries and a few others, including media persons, nobody is aware of his visit.
Temple executive officer Ch Narasing Rao and priests accorded him a traditional welcome. After having a darshan of Goddess Kanakadurga, he was blessed by the temple priests. Silk vastram, photos of Goddess Kanakadurga and laddu prasadam were presented to Mohan Bhagwat.
