Former Congress MLA Malladi Vishnu who is one of the accused in the adulterated liquor tragedy where nearly eight people lost their lives after consuming illicit liquor in Krishna district recently, had filed anticipatory bail petition in the Court. However, the petition was rejected by the Court on Wednesday and further directed Malladi Vishnu to appear before the SIT officials.
Deputy Director of Prosecution Byra Ramakoteswar Rao informed that Vishnu is currently absconding and the notices regarding the Court orders were handed over to Malladi's lawyers.
