Stone laid for 33/11 KV substation

Eluru: MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao said that the State government has decided to supply qualitative power to the people. He laid foundation stone for 33/KV electrical substation at Sunkaravarithota in Venkatapuram panchayat in Eluru rural mandal on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that as a part of qualitative power supply, new cable lines are being installed and substations are being set up in Eluru constituency. He said that the 33/11 KV sub-station will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore and added that it will alleviate continuing low voltage problem in Eluru rural areas.

MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao said after its inception, residents under the new substation would be able to get proper voltage during peak hours like evenings. ZPTC member Matta Rajeswari, Mandal Parishad president Anuradha, Transco SE Ch Satyanarayana Reddy and Deputy Engineer K Nageswara Rao were present.
