AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday convened a meeting with officials in Vijayawada where he reviewed the preparations being made for the CII partnership summit that is all set to begin on January 10.

Stating that he wants AP to transform into a manufacturing and exports hub, Chandrababu said that the summit must aim to bring investments for the state. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to hold discussions on increasing exports apart from giving a push to the manufacturing sector. The summit will have 976 delegates including 224 foreign delegates attending the event with Union ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Arun Jaitley, Nirmala Sitharaman, Ashok Gajapati Raju, Prakash Javadekar, Suresh Prabhu along with CII president Sumit Majumdar and Niti Aayog vice chairman Arvind Panagariya being among the key participants.
