TDP activist murdered

Banaganapalli (Kurnool): A Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activist was murdered at Ramakrishnapuram village in the mandal on Tuesday.
According to locals, unidentified assailants attacked K Nagesh (37) with hunting sickles while he was returning home after dropping his children at school. After hacking him to death, the assailants fled. Nagesh was an accused in several cases. Old rivalry is said to be the cause of murder.
On hearing the news of TDP activist’s murder, police rushed to the village. A police picket was set up in the village to avoid untoward incidents.
