Concerts by renowned musicians at Thyagarajaswamy Aradhana

The classical music festival started with the vocal concert of Manda Sudharani (Visakhapatnam). She rendered “Giriraja Sudha” in Bangala raga and “Sujana Jeevana” in Khamas raga. Her main item “Enta Sowkhyamani” in Kapi raga. Vishnubhotla Krishnaveni (Violin) and K Sadgurucharan (Mrudangam) complimented Sudharani’s vocal concert.
Another melodious vocal concert by Manda Krishna Mohan was appreciated by the audience. Palaparthi Nageswara Rao and NS Kalyanaraman accompanied the concert with violin with Mrudangam respectively.
A fabulous veena concert by KS Govindarajan was also placed in this Aradhanostav. “Siva Siva Anarada”, and he has chosen Pantuvarali raga in the Ragam-Tanam segement. The veena concert was supported by Parupalli Balasubrahmanyam (Mrudangam) and M Hari Babu (Ghatam).
The first day programme was concluded by the vocal concert of Akondi Srinivasa Raja Rao (Kakinada). He has given an excellent performance in Mohana raga. Aknodi’s vocal concert was supported by Palaparthi Nageswara rao (Violin) and K. Yogesh (Mrudangam).
Earlier, Mallapragada Srimannarayana inaugurated the festival and gave a lecture on Thyagaraja keerthana vaibhavam. The other guests of the festival MC Das, PA Raman, Dr GVNRSSS Vara Prasad were also present on this occasion.
