2 lakh statistical analysers needed in India
The Department of Statistics, PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College organised a workshop on Data Analytics with SPSS for Business Decision Making here on Saturday. The workshop was aimed at empowering the students on the use of software in analysing the data in big quantities.
Vijayawada: The Department of Statistics, PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College organised a workshop on ‘Data Analytics with SPSS for Business Decision Making’ here on Saturday. The workshop was aimed at empowering the students on the use of software in analysing the data in big quantities.
Head of the Department of Management at Osmania University Prof B Krishna Reddy and Assistant Professor at Dr YSR NITHM D Maheswara Reddy addressed the students on the occasion. They elaborated on the uses and utilisation of statistical software (SPSS) to study and manage data at a huge level.
The analysing techniques of such data were taught to them with practical sessions. Head of the Department of Statistics Gullapalli Chakravarthy, speaking on the occasion, said that there was a requirement of about two lakh statistical analysers in the country to manage the business analytics in future.
Principal of the college M V N Padma Rao, College director V Babu Rao, faculty of the Statistics Department and others were present in the workshop.
