Visakhapatnam: The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) will conduct Sankranti Sambaralu in the city from January 11 to 13, informed Municipal Commissioner Praveen Kumar.
He said that rangoli and cooking competitions will be conducted at the ward-level under the supervision of Zonal Commissioners on the first day and the zonal-level competitions on the second day on the GVMC main office premises on the final day on January 13.
The winners will be given prizes by local Ministers on the last day, he added.
