Two red sanders smugglers held

Kadapa: Two red sanders smugglers, who had connection with old cases, were arrested by the Vontimitta police, here on Friday.

According to the CI Sriramulu, accused K Purushotham Naidu and K Bramhaiah Naidu were arrested, who had role in red sanders smuggling cases including Bodde Venkataramana case and stashing red sanders logs in Golla Ramaiah fields.

These two were at large for many months and the police got the information that they were roaming around at Mantapam Palle area.

The Vontimitta SI Pradeep Naidu and staff nabbed the duo. Both accused were produced in the court and sent to remand.
