AP Govt signs Rs 2 lakh crore MoUs with private firms
The AP government on Sunday signed about 2 lakh crore MoUs with various public sector, national and international companies involving an investment of Rs 1.95 lakh crore on the first day of the Global Investors Summit in Visakhapatnam.
The AP government on Sunday signed about 32 MoUs with various public sector, national and international companies involving an investment of Rs 1.95 lakh crore on the first day of the Global Investors Summit in Visakhapatnam. Nearly 1500 investors from various countries attended the inaugural day of the three-day long partnership summit.
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who addressed the industrialists assured that they won't suffer losses by investing in the state but would benefit as the state has skilled manpower, efficient government, 24-hour power supply, water and abundance of natural resources.
The Chief Minister informed that 32 MoUs have been signed of which 22 belong to the energy sector and that the investments would create job opportunities for nearly 95,000 people, adding that 49 MoUs would be signed in the IT sector on Monday.
