Kurnool: Five(5)K Run will be organised in the city at 7 am on January 13 as part of Sankranti Sambaralu. District Sports Development Officer (DSDO) Satyanarayana and Municipal Commissioner S Ravindra Babu told newsmen here on Saturday that the event was included in Sankranti Sambaralu as per the directive of District Collector Ch Vijaya Mohan.
T-shirts would be distributed to all participants at the Collectorate. Kabaddi and kho kho matches will be conducted in all the mandals on January 12 as part of Sankranti festivities. The winning teams of the mandal-level matches are eligible to participate in the district-level events to be held in the city on January 13, they added.
