​Vijayawada: Responding to the plea of Special Investigation Team for police custody of former MLA Malladi Vishnu, accused No.9 in liquor tragedy case, the Second Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court sanctioned four days police custody of Vishnu from January 14 to 17.

However, the court said that the police should take Vishnu into custody between 10 am and 5 pm for interrogation. It may be noted that Vishnu was arrested and sent on judicial remand till January 19 and was lodged in Vijayawada sub-jail.
