Upper caste arrogance killed Rohith: Virasam
Virasam (Viplava Rachayitala Sangham) described the suicide of Rohith as the murder by upper caste arrogant persons.
Kurnool: Virasam (Viplava Rachayitala Sangham) described the suicide of Rohith as the murder by upper caste arrogant persons. Addressing newsmen here on Friday, spokesperson of Virasam and Rayalaseema Hakkula Medhavula Sangham, Arun alleged that the Modi government was oppressing the secularism in the country.
He said that if questioning the violence by upper caste communalists, neo colonisers and imperialists was sedition, they were proud to be called so. He held the vice-chancellors of various universities responsible for the suicides in the respective universities.
“Union Ministers Bandaru Dattatreya and Smriti Irani were responsible for the suicide of Rohit,” he asserted.
Coming down heavily on the police department to state that Rohith was not at all a Dalit, he said that it was shameful on the part of the DGP to issue such false statements.
He lamented that the intellectuals were not coming forward to fight discrimination and upper caste arrogance. He said that Virasam was ready to fight on behalf of the victims.
