Vijayawada: Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana assured the villagers of capital region that the government would take into consideration the objections raised by the villagers on Amaravati capital draft master plan and the interests of the villagers would be protected.

The Minister who is on a visit to Singapore along with CRDA Commissioner N Srikanth placed the objections raised by the villagers before the master plan developers Sarbana company and asked them to look for alternative measures, wherever the villagers raised serious objections.

In a note released by the Minister, he said that the objections raised by the villagers on express highway and main roads came for discussion and they placed the objections raised by the villagers before the master plan developers.

The Minister made it clear that the government released draft master plan and there is a chance for making modifications in the master plan. He appealed to villagers that there is no need for panic among villagers on the master plan.

He said that there was delay in fulfilling the assurances given to villagers during land pooling due to technical problems and assured that the government would fulfil all the promises.
