Chittoor: Intra-party squabbles coming to the fore in the YSRCP, according to sources. YSRCP district president Narayana Swamy has failed to avert brewing dissidence among the functionaries in the party, sources added. Party supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy, too, is said to be unhappy over the functioning of the party in the district.

The arrest of Mithun Reddy , Rajampet MP, Chevirddy Bhaskara Reddy, Chandragairi MLA, and suspension of Nagari MLA RK Roja is said to be a serious setback to the party where no sympathy has been witnessed from any quarters to defend the incidents. In the last Assembly elections, YSRCP has won majority of seats than its arch rival TDP. But, the party leaders have reportedly feeling insecure in the party. Some of the prominent leaders in the party, who have access with party chief Jaganmohan Reddy, too, are disappointed over the party affairs.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Chittoor YSRCP coordinator J Srinivasulu said that many of the YSRCP leaders in the district are not taking part in the party programmes actively. He admitted that no leader in the party is confident of getting a party ticket in the next elections.

“Even I am not sure that I can get ticket for Chittoor seat in next elections. While party Chief Jaganmohan Reddy seems to be unhappy over the latest developments in the party,” he pointed out.
