Kurnool: Superintendent of Police AK Ravikrishna on Sunday inspected the Armed Reserve Police headquarters and Home Guards’ offices in the District Police Office. He sought details of their performance after visiting the bell of arms. The SP inspected records pertaining to AR Platoon, AR Stores Register, Court Property Register, BDT Register, Register on Arms Dump. Later, he went round the Home Guards’ Office. The staff explained their problems to Ravikrishna. Additional SP (Armed Reserve) Radhakrishna, RI Rangamuni, DSP (Home Guards) Krishna Mohan, RSI (Home Guards) Mohan Reddy were present.

The SP inspected the mob operation display by the Rapid Action Force at the Parade Ground. Members of Hakimpet (Hyderabad) 99 Battalion D Company, under the leadership of SKSR Chandel, Assistant Commandant, participated. The display is intended to show how anti-social elements can be tackled. Ravikrishna viewed the Republic Day parade rehearsal. Armed Reserve Additional SP Radhakrishna, Krishna Mohan, Rangamuni, AR SIs, Civil, AR and Home Guards, besides NCC cadets participated.

The SP consoled Ulindikonda head constable Babu Bhaskar who is undergoing treatment at ICU of Sri Vijaydurga Cardiology Centre for heart-related problems. He advised doctors to provide better treatment to head constable. Kurnool DSP V Ramanamurthy, Rural CI Nagaraju Yadav, Ulandikonda SI Venkateswara Rao were present.
