Visakhapatnam: Payakaraopeta MLA Vangalapudi Anitha said she would be filing a defamation lawsuit against YSRCP MLA Roja who made derogatory remarks against her during the last Assembly session. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Anitha said actress-turned-politician was more dangerous than a terrorist and need to be punished for causing her agony and despair with her comments.
Dalit MLA claimed that Roja allegedly cast aspersions on her character by referring to her marital dispute with her husband the pending divorce case. She already served the defamation notice to Roja and she also found fault with YSRC chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for not refraining Roja from making controversial and derogatory statements against women Legislators especially Dalit leaders.
“Me and my family members are deeply hurt with the derogatory remarks and comments made by Roja during the last Assembly session. I have already sent the defamation notice to her and going to file defamation lawsuit, since it has become a habit for Roja to pass filthy remarks at every leader” the MLA told the reporters.
