Rift with relative forces farmer to end life

Rayachoti: A farmer in Yandrapalli village under Lakkireddypalli mandal ended his life on Thursday pained over his relative’s alleged attempt to malign him in the village. The victim committed suicide at his residence by consuming pesticide.

According to Lakkireddypalli SI Rajaprabhakar, the deceased Chinnaiah had borrowed water pipes from his close relative Papaiah. After Chinnaiah returned pipes, Papaiah had been telling villagers that the former had not returned all of them.

Depressed over this, Chinnaiah committed suicide. Chinnaiah’s brother Ganganna shifted him to hospital, upon seeing his brother in unconscious state, where he was declared brought dead by doctors.
