Kapu leader Mudragada to hold indefinite hunger strike
Former minister and prominent Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham who has taken up the initiative to bring the state government\'s attention towards the Kapus by including them into the BC list initiated Kapu Garjana protest at Tuni in East Godavari district on Sunday.

The agitation turned violent with the protesters staging a Road and Rail roko apart from setting the Ratnachal Express train on fire along with police vehicles and police stations in Tuni. Speaking to the reporters on Monday, Mudragada Padmanabham condemned the allegations against his activities and alleged that certain sections are trying to defame his protests by terming it as rowdy politics.
The Kapu leader further said that in order to fulfill the demands of his community people, he chose agitation as the last weapon and intends to continue indefinite hunger strike in the coming few days.
