Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan made it clear that he will not fight for only one caste.

Addressing a press conference on the Tuni incident, which was followed by unexpected turn of events and led to widespread unrest in AP, Pawan said that he is a person who believes National integrity and cannot respond keeping only caste in mind.

Stating that all the parties have to act responsibly, the Jana Sena chief said that the problems over reservations cannot be solved overnight. "Kapus are recognised as backward class in North Andhra but not in Rayalaseema. This problem has been there from the time of British Rule.Kapus should act in a methodical manner and I hope that all the problems can be solved through constitutional methods," he added.

He felt that the protests should be held in a peaceful manner and the incident at Tuni was unfortunate.

He blamed the AP Government saying it had failed to make adequate security arrangements to avert the Tuni incident.
