Speaking on the occasion, temple executive officer Ch Narasing Rao said that in the earlier month Vedic recitation programme was conducted by the temple authorities on a pilot basis.

Vedic priests under the supervision of temple official K Srinivasa Murthy has recited Vedas on a shift basis from 8 am to 11 am and in evening from 5 pm to 8 pm. Special rituals will be also performed to Goddess Kankadurga at the temple on the occasion, he said.

“Every day Vedic recitation will be held on the premises and the initiation was taken by the temple authorities in highlighting the prominence of Vedas in the modern day world,” explained temple executive officer Ch Narasing Rao.
