Tirupati: BJP President Amit Shah along with his wife on Wednesday offered prayers to Lord Balaji at Tirumala temple. A host of BJP leaders from the State including Endowments Minister P Manikyala Rao and party State president and Vizag MP K Haribabu, TDP leaders including Chittoor MP N Siva Prasad, party local MLA M Suguna, district president and MLC G Srinivasulu, BJP state spokesperson and TTD Trust Board member G Bhanuprakash Reddy accompanied Shah during his temple visit.

Later, the BJP President presented new set of clothes to 650 students of Dharmagiri Veda Adhyayana Samstha at Tirumala hills. After the morning prayers with Chaturveda Parayanam, Shah along with his wife Sonal Shah presented a pair of Dhoti and Kanduva to each student. Before leaving for Hyderabad, he attended a meeting at Chadalawada Dental College near here in which TDP and BJP leaders participated.
