Srikakulam: TDP MP K Rammohan Naidu castigated the Congress and YSRCP leaders for instigating students on the issue of special status and alleged that they are creating hurdles for development of the State.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday the MP found fault with YSRCP president, YS Jaganmohan Reddy and AICC vice president for using students for their existence and political gains.

“During Yuvabheri, here Jagan made baseless allegations against the TDP government on special status. The State government is trying to get special packages for industries, agriculture and education from central government.

BJP led NDA government is planning to provide about Rs 1.98 lakh crore worth packages to the State for overall development and establishment of central institutions,” he reiterated.

“While the State government is pulling out all stops to attract industries to provide employment and mitigate migration, Jagan is deliberately creating hurdles by making false allegations,” he charged.

The MP also found fault with AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi politicising student’s suicide at Hyderabad Central University. In a separate press conference government whip K Ravi Kumar and TDP senior leader and former minister G A Suryanarayana blasted YS Jaganmohan Reddy for making irrelevant and irresponsible comments against government without checking facts.
