Keep your promise to Kapus, CM told
Kapunadu leader and Kapu Foundation national coordinator Galla Subramanyam has said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should keep his promise of including Kapus in backward classes list.
​Vijayawada: Kapunadu leader and Kapu Foundation national coordinator Galla Subramanyam has said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should keep his promise of including Kapus in backward classes list.
Talking to the newsmen here on Thursday, Subramanyam said that though many Kapu leaders are in power in the TDP government, they failed to fulfil the long-pending demand of Kapus.
He said that the Chief Minister had assured that Kapus would be included in BC list under Schedule IX, soon after he came to power. He lamented that despite during its 20-month rule in the State, the TDP government has not taken any initiatives except constituting a commission to look into Kapus’ demands.
The Chief Minister is solely responsible for the present situation as he was the one who had driven Kapus to streets, by giving them false promise of including them in BC category.
