Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham who launched the indefinite hunger strike along with his wife on Friday at his residence in Kirlampudi has entered the second day of fast.

Demanding the state government to include Kapus in BC category, Mudragada Padmanabham is leading the protests with leaders belonging to Kapu community extending their support to him by staging hunger strikes at several places. While leaders of BC Associations are also protesting against the quota for Kapus in BC category, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and cabinet sub-committee members are to take a decision in order to provide reservation to Kapus without doing injustice to BCs.
