President Pranab Mukherjee conducted a fleet review of the Indian Navy ships off Vizag shore on Saturday. As the President embarked on an off shore patrol vessel - the INS Sumitra, he inspected the fleet along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The upper deck of the ship was modified in order to accommodate the President, Prime Minister and other VVIPs.

With 71 of Indian Navy's ships lined up for the fleet review that includes both aircraft carriers - INS Virat and INS Vikramaditya, around 24 foreign ships along with 50 navies are participating in the International Fleet Review which is the largest military exercise hosted by India till date.
