Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be coming to the city on February 12 to participate in a felicitation function to be conducted atop Kailasagiri to honour the district officials and employees, who strived round-the-clock for the successful conduct of IFR, informed Collector N Yuvaraj here on Tuesday.

At a meeting held with officials, the Collector directed them to make necessary arrangements for the Chief Minister who will arrive here between 1.30 pm and 2 pm to participate in a meeting with international investors at the Taj Gateway Hotel.
Later, he will go to Srikakulam and return in the evening by a chopper to participate in the felicitation function. He asked the RDO to make arrangements for a helipad near the Coastal Battery area and the DRO to invite local Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other dignitaries for the function.
At another meeting held with the boat operators and Star Hotel managements, the Collector asked them to utilise the passenger jetty built at the Slipway Complex in the port area which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister. He informed that it was decided to introduce a 60-seater tourism boat for the tourists and asked the boat operators to come forward to organise visits daily between 10 am and 6 pm with a minimum of 10 trips a day.
To maintain an AC restaurant at the jetty to run for three months initially and to maintain the boat with all facilities, he called for quotations immediately by Wednesday.
