Vijayawada: A senior citizen, Muppavarapu Swarajyam, resident of Neerukonda village of Guntur district, on Wednesday handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu towards Amaravati capital construction.
The senior citizen, along with her family members met the Chief Minister at the CMO office and handed over the amount, which she earned through farming.
The Chief Minister hailed the senior citizen for contributing a sum for a noble cause.
