Students hurt as high school’s tin shed crashes
Several students sustained injuries on Tuesday when the tin shed of Radiance High School in Ambabhavani Street suddenly collapsed. The incident took place when the second period was on.
Jammalamadugu (Kadapa): Several students sustained injuries on Tuesday when the tin shed of Radiance High School in Ambabhavani Street suddenly collapsed. The incident took place when the second period was on.
Parents and representatives of some student organisations rushed to the school and took the management to task. They alleged that the incident was caused by its negligent attitude.
Mandal Education Officer Chinnayya visited the spot after two hours. He allegedly colluded with the management in preparing a report trying to save it.
The MEO contended that the shed crashed after some students tried to clean it and that the management had nothing to do with the incident.
Although schools are being run in the town under tin sheds they are collecting fee on a par with corporate institutions. They lack even basic facilities.
