Srisailam: Srisaila Devasthanam has got a new Nandi idol sculpted for installation at Sikhareswaram, the most sacred spot of the shrine. Sculptor Ravindrachari of Sarada Shilpa Kalamandir of Allagadda who sculpted the new Nandi idol, handed over it to Srisailam temple Joint Executive Officer CB Harinath Reddy on Friday.
Appreciating the craftsmanship of the sculptor, the JEO said the new Nandi idol made of black granite would be installed at Sikhareswaram soon in place of the old one, which was slightly damaged.
