The first cycle of revision has been completed and the first pre-final is set to start from February 29.

Vijayawada: The Krishna district education department is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the students who are appearing for Class X public examinations are all prepared to perform well and come out with outstanding results. The first cycle of revision has been completed and the first pre-final is set to start from February 29.

The syllabus which has been completed by the end of December 2015 is divided into simpler portions for a revision of 44 days. Each subject is divided into two parts and students are made to study separate portions for easy understanding and grip on all topics from 11 papers they need to appear for.

Accordingly, 44 tests for 44 days were completed from January 5 where the assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the candidate are given in the form of feedback on the same day. Another revision schedule has been called for from February 19 to February 28, followed by the first pre-final examinations.

Zero hour tests on morning study hours from 8.30 am to 9.30 am were held and students are asked to study for following test during the evening study hour from 4.40 pm to 5.30 pm. During the gap, children are provided with snacks like Upma and boiled chickpea (46 grams of each variety on alternative days) by the department authorities via government.

From March 12, another set of examinations as second pre-finals will be organised till March 19. On the day before examinations, children are left for leisure to give them time to attend examinations with confidence. All the revision schedules have been planned to attain 100 per cent pass in all the schools.

District Science Officer Potluri Murali speaking to ‘The Hans India’ about the revision plan said that department of education is keen to live by its record of winning highest number of pass percentage in the State. Strict revision programmes are under practice to ensure that every student irrespective of their caliber can perform well in the exams. Teachers are guided to give feedback to the students immediately after the test papers are evaluated so that they can focus on loopholes of individuals.
