Kurnool: The biometric attendance system will be installed at 30 Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in the district by the end of this month to prevent the medical staff from abstaining from duties.
The new system was installed at the PHC in Ulindakonda village on Saturday on an experimental basis. DM&HO M Sarada said the biometric attendance system would be introduced in all the government hospitals, PHCs, Community Health Centres and AYUSH dispensaries in the district in a phased manner to ensure their effective functioning.
