Eminent personalities in varsity governing bodies
The AP government issued a GO nominating a governing body for as many as 11 Universities in the State. In a notice released from the office of Ministry of Human Resource Development, AP, it is mentioned that the governing bodies will function effectively to bring out the best of students and faculty.

Vijayawada: The AP government issued a GO nominating a governing body for as many as 11 Universities in the State. In a notice released from the office of Ministry of Human Resource Development, AP, it is mentioned that the governing bodies will function effectively to bring out the best of students and faculty.
Accordingly, the members of the governing body of Vikrama Simhapuri University in Nellore are Prof M Chandraiah, Prof P Venkatrao, Prof Kusuma, Peddineni Subramanyam Naidu, P Sunil Kumar, GVK Industries vice chairman Sanjay Reddy, Bollineni Krishnaiah, Advocate G Malyadri and P Radhika.
Members of JNTU-Kakinada are Prof M Ramalinga Raju, Prof V Ramachandra Raju, C L V R S V Prasad, Prof A Swarna Kumari, Prof M Kamaraju, R Venkata Rao, Transtroy India Limited Chairman Ch Sreedhar, B V R Mohan Reddy and Prof P V V Satyanarayana. Members who will act as governing body of JNTU-Anantapuram are Prof K Rama Naidu, Prof Prahlada Rao, A Srikantha Goud, Prof C Sasidhar, Prof K Murali, Laurus Labs Chairman Dr Ch Satyanrayana, Sri City Chairman Ravi Sannareddy, Prof P Sangameswara Raju, and Chairman of Vemu Educational Institutions Prof K C Naidu.
Prof D Bharathi, Prof M V Ramanamma, Margadarshi Chits Managing Director Ch Sailaja Kiran, Sangeetha Reddy of Apollo Hospitals, former MLA Lalitha Kumar and Advocate P Sumathi will work as governing body members of Padmavathi University. Aadikavi Nanayya University’s governing body includes Prof S Teki, Prof Dr Matta Reddy, Dr Vijaya Nirmala, Saidurga Prasad, Ch Krishna, Allu Indra Kumar, Alluri Narayana Raju, Dr Chakrapani, and B Suvarna Kumar.
Sri Krishnadevaraya University will have Prof K Sudharkar Babu, Prof B Phaniswar Raju, Prof A Mallikharjuna Reddy, B Naga Jyothirmayee, Vijaya Rao, Intel Engineering College director M Ramaiah, and Advocate Y Venkata Subbanna. Rayalaseema University will have Prof Sanjeeva Rao, Prof I E Chakravarthy, Prof C V Krishna Reddy, N Siva Sankar, S Abdul Khader, Y V Ramana Reddy, retired Professor G T Naidu as members of the governing body.
Prof Mandava Venkata Basaveswara Rao, Prof Y K Sundara Krishna, Manepalli Rama Krishna, B Nagamani, Dr K Prameela, C Visweswara Rao, Srini Raju, C S N Raju, and Haridasula Chandra Sekhar will lead Krishna University’s governing body. Prof M Koteswara Rao, Prof C Rambabu, Prof Kodela Venkata Rao, Dr Sahed Akthar, Dr T S S Sungh, Sri Krishna Reddy, G V S L Kantha Rao, and Dr P Hymavathi are appointed as the members of Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Yogivemana University’s members are Prof M Dhanunjaya Naidu, Prof B Jaya Paul Goud, Dr A G Damu, Sangapatnam Ramachandraiah, Muthyala Pendalaiah, Neerugattu D Vijaya Jyothi, Singareddy and Govardhana Reddy.
