Vijayawada: The Cultural Centre of Vijayawada organised a one-day art training programme for the children at Chiguru Children’s Village located near Seethanagaram on Friday.
Known artist from the city, S P Mallik, conducted the workshop. During the workshop, training for children was given in basics of art, pencil sketching, colour painting and other elements of drawing.
Children who came out with good work were appreciated and given away certificates. Their works will be exhibited at the art gallery on March 5, said the organisers. CEO of Cultural Centre E Sivanagi Reddy, Centre in-charge Ch Raj Kumar and Chiguru in-charge Williams were present.
