Vijayawada: Dr Gade Kanna Rao Naidu, who returned from abroad to serve the motherland, is barred to enter his four-acre land at Undavalli village in Guntur district.

The doctor refused to give his land under pooling for the capital and is alleging that the government has been harassing him under one pretext or the other. Power supply was reportedly snapped and the officials are not allowing ploughing the land.

The doctor complained to the commissioner of CRDA but failed to get any reply. He expressed ire over alleged comments of Chief Minister describing the farmers, who are no coming forward for land pooling as useless fellows. “Every farmer is a hard worker and there is no useless fellow and the CM's comments indicate his respect towards farmers,” he added.
