HC judge visits Araku
Justice Ramesh Ranganathan of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana High Court visited Araku and interacted with the tribal people at a legal awareness meeting on Sunday.
Visakhapatnam: Justice Ramesh Ranganathan of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana High Court visited Araku and interacted with the tribal people at a legal awareness meeting on Sunday. The judge while sensitizing the district officials about the rights of tribals, asked them to hold awareness meetings in tribal areas.
Some people of Araku gave a representation alleging that they have poor sanitation and drinking water facility. The judge immediately instructed the district officials to look into the matter and do the needful. Princial District Judge Justice V Jaya Surya, secretary of District Legal Services Authority Justice R V Nagasundar, Metropolitan Sessions Judge Justice N Narasinga Rao, Superintendent of Police Koya Praveen were also present at the programme.
