SRKR Engg College signs MoU with Wageningen University
The Wageningen University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Water and Environmental Testing Centre (WET Centre) at SRKR Engineering College here on Sunday.
Bhimavaram: The Wageningen University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Water and Environmental Testing Centre (WET Centre) at SRKR Engineering College here on Sunday.
After visiting the WET Centre here on Sunday, Wageningen University engineer Dr Ridgma said that the climate in the delta region in Coastal Andhra and Netherlands is same. The WET Centre coordinator PA Ramakrishnamraju said that the rainfall records equally throughout the year in Netherlands. He called for joint research between Netherlands University and WET Centre.
Dr KR Muralimohan, head scientist at Science and Technology Department said that resource centres should be established in all district and mandal headquarters. He commended the services of the WET Centre and suggested that every engineering college should establish such centre. Principal Dr G Pardhasaradhi Varma thanked the Wageningen University engineer Ridgma for signing the MOU with the WET Centre of the college.
