Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam Party women leaders warned YSRCP legislator R K Roja to mind her language and change her attitude. Addressing a news conference here on Tuesday, the women leaders took strong exception to the remarks made by the YSRCP legislator against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders of the ruling party on the International Women’s Day. They said that the language that Roja used was highly objectionable and derogative.

The TDP general secretary and chairperson of the AP Women Cooperative Finance Corporation chairperson, Panchumarthi Anuradha, said that Roja crossed all the limits. “It is sad to note that she hasn’t changed her ways even after being suspended for one year from Assembly,” she commented.

Anuradha said that the CM spent over Rs 4,000 crore for the welfare of the women in the State, while Dr Rajasekhar Reddy’s government had spent only Rs 3,860 crore over seven years. She demanded Roja to get facts correct about the contribution of the TDP for the women development. TDP Krishna district general secretary Talasila Swarnalatha, urban unit president K Suryalatha and others were present.
