YSR Congress Party's no-confidence motion moved against the TDP Government will be taken up in the AP Assembly on Monday. According to Government Chief Whip K Srinivasulu, the debate will be held for a period of seven hours and the decision was taken by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) chaired by the Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao.

The notice for the no-confidence motion was given by the YSRCP with the support of the mandatory 10 percent of the members and the issue was referred to the BAC. The notice stated that the TDP government failed to fulfill the poll promises even after 22 months of governance which has led to the people in the state losing faith in the government.
