Three youngsters allegedly involved in the rape of a minor girl in Viswanath Bazaar on Thursday were arrested by local police. They were produced in a court in Vijayawada which sent them in remand for 14 days.
Vuyyur : Three youngsters allegedly involved in the rape of a minor girl in Viswanath Bazaar on Thursday were arrested by local police. They were produced in a court in Vijayawada which sent them in remand for 14 days.
The youth have been identified as M Vijaykumar, Akbar Basha, and Mohiuddin. They were charged under Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, and SC,ST Atrocities(Prevention) Act.
Town SI D Satya Sudhakar said the investigation was expedited after recording the girl’s statement, under the supervision of CI Muralikrishna.
