Building plan approvals to go online from Apr 1
The government would be introducing an online system to give building plan approvals in all municipal corporations and municipalities from April 1 in the State. The government has already directed the municipalities to make necessary arrangements to introduce this system. It will give the new software to the municipalities for introducing the system.
Amaravati: The government would be introducing an online system to give building plan approvals in all municipal corporations and municipalities from April 1 in the State. The government has already directed the municipalities to make necessary arrangements to introduce this system. It will give the new software to the municipalities for introducing the system.
The town planning officials are already trained to give building plan permission in the new system. Deputy director of town planning on Tuesday reviewed arrangements with the town planning officials to introduce the new system and instructed them to speed up the process. If the new system would come into operation, land owners can apply at Mee Seva or e-seva centres for building approvals. The land owner has to pay necessary fee for building plan approvals.
The town planning officials will verify the plan and give the necessary online approval within 24 hours. The government is introducing the system, to reduce corruption in the town planning department.
