The AP Assembly assembly on Wednesday witnessed an uproar over the issue of the Special Development Fund (SDF). The leader of the opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the state government of denying the funds to the MLAs of the opposition party while the TDP leaders and in-charges who lost elections were made available of the funds.

While Jagan questioned the logic behind allocating resources from the SDF to TDP leaders Kandula Narayan Reddy and Adala Prabhakar Reddy, YSRCP legislator Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy accused Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and the ruling TDP party for refusing the grants. Chevi Reddy, however, appreciated Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's move to increase the salaries of Telangana legislators.

With the Opposition YSRCP legislators surrounding Kodela Siva Prasad Rao's podium protesting against the government's refusal to release funds, the Speaker adjourned the Assembly.
