MCET-AC entrance on May 13
The online application for entrance test for getting admission into Medical Common Entrance Test Association of Colleges ranking, based on B category management seats called for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in AP private medical and dental colleges for 2016-17.
Vijayawada: The online application for entrance test for getting admission into Medical Common Entrance Test Association of Colleges ranking, based on B category management seats called for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in AP private medical and dental colleges for 2016-17.
The application form is available from April 5 to May 1 on www.apmedco.com. Hall tickets can be downloaded from May 9 up to the test date on May 13. The number of questions in the test would be 160 including Botany-40, Zoology-40, Physics-40 and Chemistry-40.
According to MCET-AC convener KJ Ramesh, each question carries one mark, without negative marking. The registration fee for MCET-AC is Rs 2,000. The web-based examination will be held on May 13 from 2 to 5 pm in 36 centres in AP, Telangana and other States. The convener said that there are approximately 600 MBBS seats in 13 private medical colleges and 400 BDS seats in 12 private dental colleges under B category.
The merit list will be prepared giving 75 per cent weightage to MCET-AC marks and 25 per cent weightage to the marks obtained in Science subjects of qualifying examination (Intermediate).
