Minister reviews temporary AP Secretariat works

Amaravati: Municipal Administration and CRDA vice-president P Narayana, State Legislative Council chairman Chakrapani visited the temporary Secretariat building, where construction is underway, on Friday to review the progress. Minister Narayana said that L&T would start slab work from April 5, Shapoorji Pallonji from April 8. He said that they would complete the first floor construction by June 15 and start shifting the staff to Velagapudi.

The minister said they would shift 12000 employees by July 15. He said they had already held negotiations with the employee associations and accepted their demands and agreed to provide necessary facilities. He said that building construction works were going on full swing.
They went to six blocks which were under construction and examined progress of the works. The construction companies have already completed pillar works for six blocks. The construction companies are racing against time to complete the work within the stipulated time. The China team also examined the progress of the works.
The engineers explained that the progress of the construction works through maps to minister Narayana and Chakrapani and assured them that they would complete the building construction work within the stipulated time. It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu visited the site and asked officials to complete the works by June 15.
